All Aeralife homes are dementia-friendly communities suitable for people living with low level dementia care. We take a person-centred approach to care to empower residents with autonomy, independence and to ensure their care needs are understood, respected and supported.
Our staff are trained in dementia care which ensures people with dementia can continue to live how they want to in the community.
Memory Support Units
Our Memory Support Units are purpose-built to provide the best of care in a homely environment. They are designed to bring residents a sense of belonging, safety, independence and connection to others. Our Memory Support Units are secure, so you can rest assured your loved one will be safe as they move freely amongst the lounges, dining areas and gardens.
State-of-the-art Memory Support Unit at Aeralife Northpoint
Aeralife Northpoint’s Memory Support Unit is designed to offer personalised, state-of-the-art care for people living with dementia, incorporating best-practice design elements and specialised gardens to enhance residents’ well-being. Northpoint features the world-first Laughter Care™ Program by The Humour Foundation, led by a Laughter Care Specialist to enrich lives through laughter and strengthen social connections. The team has received advanced dementia training from Dementia Australia and utilises innovative play-based products such as Tover, creating a vibrant and safe environment where residents can thrive.

Understanding fees
There is a lot of information about fees to be absorbed and it can sometimes be overwhelming. This snapshot is designed to help you familiarise yourself with the various fees and charges associated with residential aged care.
Basic Daily Care Fee
An amount that everyone pays for the day-to-day services they receive at the aged care home. This fee is indexed by the Commonwealth government each March and September.
Additional service costs
All Aeralife homes include Additional Services that go beyond the minimum care and service requirements and has been bundled into our Advantage Package and applied as a daily fee.
Means tested care fee
A contribution that some people pay toward the cost of their care, determined by a means assessment.
Accomodation costs
An amount that some people pay to contribute towards or cover the full costs of their room, depending on their means assessment.
